" Encounter with the Hammerheads "….. in May 2008
300 km North of Kota Kinabalu lies the " Jewel of the Borneo Banks -Layang - Layang Island. " This remote oceanic atoll is yet another example of the World Class Diving to be found in Borneo, Malaysia. Its Coral walls plunge a staggering 6000 feet (2000 metres) down to the floor of the South China Sea. Venturing below the surface of the sparkling blue water, you'll be met with an average visibility of 150 feet (50 metres) and find a dive destination that is largely unexplored. This offers the adventurous diver, an opportunity to experience " Frontier Diving " at its best.

After many many successful group trips in 5 years, again I am offering the famous Layang Layang.

Layang Layang (which is famous for the schooling hammerheads, Mantas, Schooling Jacks. Schooling Devil Rays, Sighting of whale shark May 2007, Schooling Giant Tunas, Macrolife and not forgetting over the years visibility from 20 – 40 metres , I have been lucky all these 5 years!) as follows:-

Dear Buddies

I was fortunate enough to be able to take up PAINTBALL as a new hobby apart from my diving. This game was introduce to me by 2 of my fellow dive buddies.

I make an effort and joined them and was fortunate enough to meet new friends and I find that I truly enjoyed this game. I would like to share this new hobby of mine with all of you to come join me and the group and do the same.

I must say it is really a break away from town stress and we had lots of laughs and also not forgetting to mentioned loads of sweat out of the body and adrenaline rush….

There are a number of divers now playing too .

Where is Rimba Harmonis?

Rimba Harmonis Paintball Extreme Zone is located in Gombak , Kuala Lumpur. It is about 4km away from University Islam Antarabangsa, Gombak or 2km from Balai Polis Gombak.

From Batu Caves, you will passed the Giant Hypermarket and Taman Sri Gombak. Drive about 2km to the 1st traffic lights at the T-junction. Go straight and you will see Taman Greenwood on your RIGHT and go ahead to the 2nd traffic lights near the Masjid and UIAM exit on your LEFTHANDSIDE.

From there, you must turn RIGHT and find the TAMAN HARMONIS SIGNBOARD on the LEFTHANDSIDE of the road. It is about 1km from the traffic lights. Enter the Taman Harmonis and at the end of the road turn LEFT until you find the football field. Turn RIGHT and you will see our paintball recreational park at your RIGHT. Please refer our map.
